February 4, 2014 - Why Grandpa Blog Posting - Be Ready!

As a Christian, we know that Jesus is to come back to this earth to fulfill Bible Prophecy.  As you read the writings of the Apostle Paul. You would think that Christ would be back within Paul’s lifetime. That was 2,000 years ago! We know only the Father knows when this event will happen, but we have been lulled into a feeling that we have lots of time, because it has been so long since Christ walked this earth.  Maybe we have also gotten too involved with trying to be “politically correct”, instead of being “Biblically correct” and understanding the message of the Parable of the 10 virgins.

The highlight of my week was June 1, 2014, when our Son in law, Jamey Humphreys and our Daughter Jamie were baptized at Central Christian Church Campus in Kingman, Arizona.  They started going to the Membership classes with our Grandson Seth over 6 weeks ago and this past Sunday was Baptism Sunday for their church. Debi & I with our Daughter Karyn (came up from Phoenix) and Grandson Seth were there to witness their baptism.
